Expand E3 Weekend: Host Homes
Dates: July 24-26, 2025
Our vision for E3 is to bring that “camp” feel to a conference weekend and we need your help to accomplish that goal!
We believe Host Homes is the answer.
A Host Home serves as the students’ home base for the weekend. As a Host, you’re not expected to lead small groups or participate in the activities that the Team Leaders are responsible for during their time at your home. In past years, some Hosts have chosen to be away for most of the weekend, while others have enjoyed hanging out and getting to know the students—it’s completely up to you how involved you’d like to be. On the first night, the Leaders will introduce you to the students and give you a chance to share any house guidelines. For example, you might say, “If you need to shower, there’s one upstairs—but otherwise, please stay downstairs.”
There are three main things we ask of our Host Homes:
• Provide breakfast for the group staying with you. This can be as simple as donuts and milk or as elaborate as you’d like.
• Be available to help with transportation if Team Leaders need assistance getting students from one location to another.
• Ensure that any adult (18 or older) staying in the home during the weekend completes a background check.
E3 is will be here before we know it, and we want to take a moment to thank you for opening your home and investing your time in this generation—it truly means a lot!
